Original soundtracks have become a trend in the digital space. Kaafir, Jamai 2.0, Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala each of these web series carried a title song or an original song. Fittrat, an upcoming ZEE5 Original and ALTBalaji Original digital drama, has been packed with four songs namely Naznina, Man Murade, Paheli Dilli and O Panchi Re. The series marks the digital debut of the gorgeous Krystle Dsouza, stunning Anushka Ranjan, and the heartthrob Aditya Seal who appear in the lead roles. Ahead of its release, here’s what we think of the music of Fittrat.

Naznina is a beautiful romantic number laced with simple lyrics and accentuated by medium-paced beats. Mehmood Arafat’s lyrics hit you right in the feels while Altamash Faridi and Jonita Gandhi’s voice fuel you with tons of passion. The song will remind you of the feeling, where love meets obsession. Watch the video of Naznina here:

Man Murade is the desi heartbreak anthem of the year! Crooned melodiously by Vivek Hariharan, his alaaps perfectly sump up the sadness of separation. Anusha Hariharan Mani breezes through midway to sing the Akshay Shinde lyrics “Sach batana mere hisse kiske dil mein ghar diya” that will surely win the audience’s heart. Tune in to the most hummable track of Fittrat here:

Things get interesting with Paheli Dilli. The party anthem of Fittrat symbolises a typical party evening in Delhi, with a dash of Tarini Bisht’s (Krystle D’souza) quirks. Emphasizing the word ‘Dilli’ this number is brilliantly catchy and will grow on you eventually. Dance to the hatke voice of Sharvi Yadav, Sandman in Paheli Dilli written by Mani Soni here:

O Panchi Re, as the title suggests, is about a little birdie (Tarini) who wants to fly high! Tugging directly at heartstrings, this innocent number has been sung by Vivek Hariharan and written by Akshay Shinde.

The songs of Fittrat have been composed by music director Sandman and mixed & mastered by Joseph George.

Krystle D’souza plays gold-medalist-turned-gold-digger Tarini Bisht in Fittrat. The calm to Tarini’s storm and the yin to Tarini’s yang is Amy (Amrita Sareen), her childhood best friend played by Batti Gul Meter Chalu fame Anushka Ranjan. Joining them is Veer Shergill, the hottest bachelor in town portrayed by the heartthrob Aditya Seal. Produced by Ding Entertainment, the web series will stream from October 18, on ZEE5 and ALTBalaji.
