Kesari was one of the most soulful soundtracks we’ve heard from Bollywood in recent times. The song Teri Mitti from the film also won the Zee Cine Award for Best Lyrics. The song talks about the people who were ready to lay down their lives to protect their mother land. During the Coronavirus lockdown, the doctors and healthcare workers have been putting their lives on the line to save people. That is why the song Teri Mitti from the film Kesari ,fits perfectly in this tribute video to the doctors, just as well as it suited the soldiers.

This video shows footage of doctors, police force and other people including ambulance drivers helping by testing people for Coronavirus and treating them too. They put their own lives at risk to ensure that the virus doesn’t claim anymore victims. The video also highlights the violence doctors faced from people who refused to give them samples for testing.
Manoj Muntashir who wrote the lyrics for the original song also, changed the lyrics for the tribute song. His lines ‘Beemar hai jo kis dharm ka hai, humse na kabhi ye bhed hua. Sarhad pe jo vardi khaki thi, ab uska rang safed hua‘ really hit home. B Praak lends his voice to this song, and the music is composed by Arko, both of whom were also a part of the original song.
